Title: VBCC Digital Media Ministries Coordinator

Hours: Part-Time Position (Approximately 20 hours/week @ approx $16/hour)

Requiring Proficiency in:
Adobe Creative Suite (At least InDesign, Photoshop, Premier)
Microsoft Office

Requiring a Working Knowledge of:
Squarespace
Subsplash
MailChimp
Printing in-house
Communication with external print vendors
Final Cut Pro (if not Premiere)
Avid Pro Tools (or comparable)

Regular tasks include:
Development and leadership of the church’s media teams for needs such as: video, audio, social media, graphic design, website and printing.

Specific Tasks:

  • Build and Coordinate Media Teams

    • Sunday morning

    • Others

      • Women’s Bible Study

      • Youth

      • Children

  • Squarespace website design and maintenance

    • Edit and upload sermon audio

    • Development of additional church-related websites

    • Posting sermon discussion questions

  • Social Media

    • Facebook

    • Instagram

  • Video and video editing

    • Sunday morning footage, editing, and uploading to website

  • Event Design:

    • Digital:

      • Facebook posts

      • Squarespace imagery

      • planning center imagery

      • forms for registration

      • promo slides

    • Print:

      • Invitations

      • Nametags

      • Signage

  • Recurring Signage (design and printing):

    • ABF classroom signs

    • Sunday morning informational meeting signs

    • Misc. building signs

    • Reusable outdoor and retractable banners

  • Researching and communicating with vendors for printing things larger than in-house printers are capable. (Also for printing on items other than paper i.e. coffee mugs, t-shirts, etc.)

  • Bulletin production (weekly):

    • Connecting with leadership on content like “Big Three” and each week’s sermon info.

    • Creating sermon artwork

    • Printing, folding and insert stuffing (with help from Ann)

  • Miscellaneous:

    • Baptism certificates

    • Missionary prayer booklet

    • Connect cards

    • Announcement slides (weekly)

    • newsletter/emails (mailchimp)

    • Vacation Bible School printed materials 

    • Various ministry print projects (volunteer handbooks, special event promotional materials, etc.)  

    • All church mailings

    • Google forms

  • Rebranding Rollout: slowly replacing all printed and digital materials plus building signage to reflect the new logo/brand)

    • Branded swag design (I.e. shirts, mugs, coffee koozies, magnets, pens, etc.)
