Each year, we see hundreds of undergraduate university students from nations around the globe come to Virginia Beach, especially for the summer months, to work and improve their English. How many will we have this year? We’re not sure, but we are certain that God is sending those we can welcome in His name.

ELECTRONIC BIBLE APPS

This is a link to the Youversion Bible App, an app that allows you to download the bible in almost all languages.

This is a link to a popular Japanese Bible App that gives a dramatized audio reading. We’ve received feedback from Japanese Missionaries that this is a popular app and medium to take in Scripture.

BIBLE READING PLANS

This is a link to a Bible Reading Plan that goes through high points of the Book of Mark in 8 sessions. It gives questions to ask for each session that helps the leader and reader to identify the main points Mark is trying to make. We’d recommend using this if the student has high english proficiency

This is a link to an app that gives two reading plans using the Discovery Bible Study Format. We’d recommend you use the second reading plan: The Life and Message of Jesus. This app gives the scriptures along with the study questions in all languages we will have present in the spring! This would be a good plan to use with a student who has low to moderate English proficiency.
