January is SERVE Month! This is an opportunity to celebrate the many ways God is working through VBCC and to join in on the work. Sunday, January 25 is Commitment Sunday, where we will invite our members and fellowship to make a new or renewed commitment to serve with VBCC! Each week in the service, we will highlight different volunteers and ministries, and there will also be a Ministry Fair on Sunday, January 18 after both services in the Porch! Please pray and consider how you might serve with VBCC this 2026!

We will explore VBCC's vision for discipleship, fellowship, and membership and answer any questions you may have. Whether you have recently attended our worship services or been a part of the VBCC family for years, we believe you will find this one session class informative and helpful. As we begin the new year, we invite you to join us for a church-wide day of prayer and fasting Friday, January 9th.

The sanctuary will be open for from 1:00 - 4:00PM, providing space for personal prayer and quiet reflection or seeking the Lord together with family and friends.  

Please also plan to join us at 7:00PM for our Night of Prayer, a time of guided, corporate prayer as we come together to dedicate the year ahead to God.

We hope you will join us as we seek His direction, renewal, and guidance together.

*If you plan to attend - if possible, please park in the small lot on the east side of the building. If you park in the large lot, walk along the outside path to the sanctuary doors.

Plan to join us at 10:30AM for a special New Year’s Family Worship Service. No 9AM service. No Sunday School classes and no SPLASH.

Our traditional Christmas Eve Services will be identical at 4PM and 5:30PM. This candlelight family worship service is also a special time when we receive the Christmas Love Gift. Our children will enjoy being included in this VBCC tradition.

This year, we would like to offer childcare for infants - pre-k during the 4pm Christmas Eve Service. This is a special service for families to attend together and includes traditions designed to be kid-friendly and fun for all ages! This childcare offering would be to serve our volunteers, guests, and families that may be in a season of having hands a little fuller. Please register for childcare no later than Sunday, December 21st.

The Porch & the Infant classroom will also be available with the live-feed of the service on the screens if parents need to leave the sanctuary with a child. Activity bags for all children will also be given before children enter the sanctuary.

A gift-wrapping fellowship party! 

Stop by the gym anytime between 1PM and 9PM with your boxed gifts that are ready to be wrapped and we will provide the wrapping paper, ribbon and gift tags. No gifts of your own to wrap? Come and help someone else with theirs!

VBCC Family and friends, we are so excited to invite you to this year's Christmas Together on Sunday, December 14 from 6-8pm in the gym! Christmas Together is VBCC's annual Christmas Program and Party that combines beautiful and fun musical performances, a Christmas Carol sing-along, and time to enjoy good company, food, hot chocolate, cookies, kids' crafts, and s'mores around the fire! It's such a fun event and would be a wonderful opportunity to invite a neighbor, coworker, classmate, or family member to come experience warm Christian fellowship and hear the gospel shared! We hope to see you there! The chapel creatives invite you to create, share & celebrate the Thanksgiving and advent seasons! Friday, November 14 at 6:30PM in the Porch, come enjoy fellowship and fun as we create together. Whether you like to paint, draw, write poetry, prose or music, quilt, craft, or any other creative medium - bring your supplies (or borrow ours) and come get creative with us!
