The book chosen for our July Book Club is a novel, by a familiar author, called The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto by Mitch Albom. The book was published in 2015 and is a tale about Frankie Presto, a Spanish war orphan raised by a blind music teacher. At nine years old, Frankie is sent to America in the bottom of a boat. His only possession is an old guitar and six magical strings. It is available on Amazon in paperback, Kindle, Audiobook and possibly at the Public Library.
