Lillian Parisher was born and reared in Norfolk. In preparation for Christian ministry Lillian attended Wingate College in North Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas where she received a Master of Arts degree in Religious Education.

Lillian has been involved in ministry to children, teens and families in various church and social service settings for more than two decades. Her church work includes serving as Preschool and Childhood Ministry Director at Swift Creek Baptist Church in Midlothian, Virginia for 10 years. Lillian also served children, families and birthparents in Texas, North Carolina and Virginia for a total of 12 years as a Christian adoption social worker. Lillian’s love for the Lord Jesus Christ is the motivation for her service. She is committed to helping parents fulfill their role as the spiritual leaders in their family and providing a positive environment for spiritual growth for children through the local church. Lillian came to Virginia Beach Community Chapel in February 2013.

Hobbies:  Playing card games, board games & activities with friends/family and relaxing on the beach.
