Morning Session:
The Word of the Lord: Seeing Jesus in the Prophets
We will have an encouraging kick-off the first day of our semester by welcoming former pastor Rich Hardison to speak.
Then for the next 10 weeks of our semester, we’ll study Nancy Guthrie’s The Word of the Lord: Seeing Jesus in the Prophets.
Prophets in the Old Testament were men who spoke for God. Over 100 times in the historical and prophetical books of the Old Testament we read that, "the word of the Lord came" to a prophet. In this study, we’ll see not only what God had to say to his people through these prophets in their own day, but also what he has to say to his people today. We’ll discover that we struggle with the same sins, we’re subject to the same judgment, and we await the same Savior, coming this time as King.
In our final 3 weeks, beloved Bible teacher Hap Struthers will lead us in a study of Romans 6, 7 & 8 on the victorious Christian life.
Our Wednesday morning Bible study will include both large-group teaching and small-group discussion times, and it is a great place to get to know VBCC women on a more personal level. We hope you will join us!

Evening Session:
Titus: Displaying the Gospel of Grace
The gospel that saves us for all eternity is the same gospel that transforms us day-by-day. Knowing, believing, and living out the truths of the gospel changes not only our lives, but our homes, churches, and culture as well. This is how the gospel of grace is put on display for all to see.
In this 8-session Bible study, Courtney Doctor and Hunter Beless team up to explore every verse of Paul's letter to his friend Titus. You'll see the essential connection between right belief and right character and the way both testify to the goodness of the gospel. And you’ll be reminded that our world will be attracted to the gospel when they see its beauty displayed in us.
Dates: January 14 – April 22
Time: Wednesday Evenings 6:30 – 8:30PM
Place: The Porch
Cost: $20
*No Childcare Available
