Read Psalm 112. This psalm uses the same acrostic device as Psalm 111 (each line begins with a letter of the Hebrew alphabet). How does this psalm flow out of the last one? To what “commandments” does the psalmist refer (v1)? What does fearing God mean?
What external signs point to his being blessed (vv. 2-3)? What kind of blessing is implied in verse 4a?
What two traits characterize his dealings with people (vv. 4-5)?
